Biography
Sam Charrington
VP of Product Management & Marketing, Appistry, Inc.

Sam Charrington is Vice President of Product Management & Marketing for Appistry, a leading provider of next-generation application platform software. The company’s products allow customers like FedEx, GeoEye and the U.S. Government to rapidly create highly scalable applications and easily deploy them across a virtualized grid of inexpensive servers.

Sam is responsible for managing the company’s growing product portfolio as well as the company's overall marketing efforts, including product marketing and brand strategy. Before joining Appistry, Sam served as an independent consultant, delivering product management and marketing services to technology startups, including a number of Boeing Ventures portfolio companies. Prior to consulting, Sam was an early employee at Plumtree Software, where he held a variety of senior sales and marketing roles as the company grew from pre-revenue to over $80 million in annual income. Previously, Sam worked in technical sales and marketing positions at AT&T. Sam holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Northwestern University, respectively.
