Security Business Development Manager, U.S. & Canada, Cisco Systems, Inc.
Mr. Hentschell has accumulated over 15 years of computer security experience with a focus on network security and security design. He started with Cisco Systems, Inc. in October of 2000 as a security specialized Systems Engineer. In this role he designed security systems for enterprises of all sizes including many of the fortune 100. From there he moved in to a Security Specialist working with business managers on business drivers and enablement. In his current role, Mr. Hentschell analyses the security market for emerging trends, product opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and business issues to help lead Cisco Systems strategic vision for security across North America. He has a firm belief that Security is a competitive differentiator if properly applied to business process and regularly meets with CxO’s, and Systems Architects of Fortune 500 companies to design, plan, and implement security technologies and solutions to solve business problems. Recently, Mr. Hentschell was asked by the Department of Homeland Security and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center to present to United States and 8 foreign countries about the threat of Bot’s and BotNet’s.
