The intention of this session is to provide an explanation of the various mechanical system components and how they work together to cooling and other mechanical elements to the data center. The attendee will become familiarized with the various mechanical acronyms and terms that will be utilized during the five day seminar.
In addition, the attendee will be introduced to the various types of mechanical systems in a data center through a flow diagram (drawing). The intention of the session is to provide the attendee a better understanding of the various mechanical components of a data center, how the systems work as a whole and preliminarily how to read a single line diagram.
